Himalayan Tantric Yoga

  • The Braidmill 441 High Street Philadelphia, PA, 19144 United States (map)

This practice is for those that are curious about yoga and the depth that it offers.

After 4 months traveling through South East Asia, Gabrielle is back at in Philly to share rare practices from the Himalayan Yog- Vedantic Tradition of India. She studied at Sattva Yoga Academy for her 300hr YTT with master teacher Anandji. Now She returns to share these teachings with you in an integrated practice that takes you far beyond asana into the more subtle layers of your being. The class encourages creative expressions of movement and stillness. From this class you will experience a shift in your state of consciousness creating change and transformation within. This gentle, relaxing, and accessible practice weaves together different ancient yogic teachings like pranayama, asana, kriya, kundalini, mantra, and Gyana yoga (wisdom), to invite you into an experience the love and peace that is available to you know. We will close the practice with a Tibetan Sound Bath.

This is a donation-based class to celebrate black history month. The Deepest roots of yoga connect us back to the BIPOC community. Let's honor and celebrate the teachers who have, not only created, this masterful science, but also dedicated their lives to practicing, refining, and sharing this wisdom.

All proceeds will go to Philly Black Worker Project, a local non-profit. The Philly Black Worker Project utilizes collective action, policy change and community power-building to win quality jobs, reduce employment discrimination, and improve working conditions in industries that employ significant amounts of Black workers. Read more about them, Here.
